Microsoft Certified IT Professional: Server Administrator credential is the leading certification for Windows Server 2008, providing widely recognized, objective validation of your leadership and problem-solving skills in working with Windows Server 2008.
MCITP candidates must first complete the requirements for the two MCTS pre-requisite certifications (two exams). After achieving these certifications, candidates earn their MCITP: Server Administrator by passing the required professional series exam.

MS-6421: Troubleshooting a Windows Server 2008 Network Infrastructure
This five-day instructor-led course provides students with the knowledge and skills to configure and troubleshoot a Windows Sever 2008 network infrastructure. Students will learn to implement and configure secure network access and implement fault tolerant storage technologies. Students will gain an understanding of the network technologies most commonly used with Windows Server 2008 and IP-enabled networks. Students will also learn how to secure servers and maintain update compliance.

This five-day instructor-led course provides to teach Active Directory Technology Specialists with the knowledge and skills to configure Active Directory Domain Services in a distributed environment, implement Group Policies, perform backup and restore, and monitor and troubleshoot Active Directory related issues.
